Did you find it easy to port all the entries over? I'm at the same ID there as well, but I haven't used it yet. What, for you, was the decidng factor between the two?
It was very easy to import my Livejournal to Dreamwidth. You just go here and the process is really intuitive. Fortunately, the whole process runs in the background, direct from LJ's servers to DW's.
It's a bit slow at the moment, of course. To quote DW's maintenance folks:
People who are worried because the import of their LiveJournal account has been running for a long time with no real signs of progress: please don't be concerned! The import queue is currently a little long. (In the same way that Mt Everest is a little tall and the Mariana Trench is a little deep.)
For me, the new Terms of Service were the last straw. They were explicitly designed to bring the site into compliance with Russian law, which is a bit dodgy on LGBT issues, and the new terms prohibit "political solicitation". That's making me twitchy.
The fact that they would not let me access my journal to delete it without agreeing to their terms was just adding insult to injury.
