Nah, I haven't gone yet, I strill want to though. The guy I was going to go with backed out because he didn't have enough money to go. Then he moved out about a week and a half ago. Soooo, I'm not going until I find someone who will go with me, not because I'm scared to go alone, more like it just wouldn't be any fun to go by myself and not have someone to share the experience with. Whoever you are, you should go with me. It will be fun, i swear.
It sucks when people back out of stuff...especially if its due to not having the money because you want to be all mad at him/her, but you can't because not having the money is a legitimate problem that I'm sure we all have run into before. Bleh! So yeah, I didn't realize that I didn't post my name in the Subject box of my previous comment. Now you have no idea who I am. Haha, this makes me laugh--makes me feel sort of sly. We have not hung out in a really long time, skydiving would be the perfect activity to "break the ice." If only I could find the "balls" to do it. That has got to be one of those things to do before you die. So tell me about the whole thing...where...how safe...etc.
the place I found is called Raeford skydiving center. This is their website: http://www.jumpraeford.com/coaching.htm . what I wanted to do was the tandem skydiving because it's cheaper, it's less of a time commitment because you only have to do an hour or so of training as opposed to 5 hours with the accelerated freefall, and also because it's probably more safe because you're attached to someone (someone who's jumped thousands of times) as opposed to being right next to someone who jumped all those times. Less of a chance to die, however slim it was to begin with. The place itself is in Raeford, NC so you can look it up on mapquest to see how far it is from you. Anyway, look at the website for more information. Also, if I had to wager a guess as to who you are I'd say Shannon. Though don't get offended if I'm wrong.
