Seeing as I'm not filling my quota of being butt naked in the sun, some time this summer I plan to take a (probably weekend) trip to one of the various naturist campgrounds in New England. It would be more fun to do this with other people. If you're interested, email me and we can talk about campgrounds and/or dates.

Inspired by ian_gunn's tea party, I decided to experiment a little. I ordered a bunch of herbal tea samples* from both Adagio and Upton. They all arrived today*. Not much to report yet, but the Adagio "rooibos cocomint" I'm sipping is pretty good!

So where can I find small gasketed tins that are not ridiculously expensive?

I recently tried two contra dances I hadn't been to before: Brown University and Falmouth.

The Brown dance had lots of young people, of course, many of whom were beginners -- but they seemed to be picking it up well, and it was fun. And dancing with dahling is always a bonus. I'll probably go back to this one ( Read more... )

I guess the exercise freaks in the Palo Alto office got to my brain, or perhaps I finally got tired (so to speak) or being out of shape. I started doing some cardiovascular exercise, and I've been using the gym since I returned -- mostly weight lifting, but I'm starting to use the treadmill a bit more too.
