Just watched The French Connection last night. Not entirely sure what the big deal is about it as a movie - for a Best-Picture-winning, AFI-Top-100-making film, I didn't think it was all that special other than the fact that it's a seventies cop movie where the bad guys don't all get it in the end. But it has given me some new and amazing
