I never thought it'd come down to this. The killing, I mean. I promised dad that I wouldn't, and I honestly can't believe that I broke that promise after trying so hard. I know he's not going to be happy with me if I ever see him again. He'll probably say I'm nothing but a soldier born to fight and kill. But that's one of the reasons why part of me is hoping he doesn't show up; and then there's another part me that wants to see him again. Him, and Donna, and Rose, and Jack. I'd like see all of them again. I know Donna, Rose and Jack would probably understand...sort of...but dad...he's always been a bit set in is pacifist ways. He said he used to fight a war, that he's killed, but he's just so set in his ways now, and I doubt that's going to change. I suppose I'll just have to face up to him if I ever see him again. Just explain that I tried. Maybe he'll understand. But on the other hand, I can't help but worry that he won't. Well, I suppose I won't know until I tell him, and that's certainly not happening now with him not being here. But...I swear I'll tell him if he shows up. I really will.

Would you mind meeting me in the library sometime around sunset?

...

...

On second thought, let's meet at the lake instead.

[Jenny is sitting in the Library, her journal propped on a table as she writes. When she finishes, she closes her journal and walks over to a one of the bookshelves, running her finger down the rows as she reads each of the bindings. When she reaches the ends, she sighs, her forehead creasing in a bit frustration. She still couldn't find what she was looking for, but surely they had something that could help her, right? Anything even close would be useful, but still there seemed to be nothing. Moving to another shelf, she does the same as she did before, running her finger down the row of bindings, and reading the words on them. There had to be something, right? Sure, she had an hour or two before sunset, but she still wasn't sure if she'd even find the information she was looking for by then.]
