She places a foot on a foot hold, and it crumbles beneath the weight. For a moment, she just dangles there, her hand grip the only thing keeping her from falling. Obviously, there is no other foot hold, so

[Have a glowing pinkish/purplish figure flying nearby. She's weaving around the mountains and following a general route though making detours here and there.]

[Well, hello there flying figure. You might be able to see this girl climbing up the mountain the hard way, and with no safety precautions to boot.]

[Yes, that is odd, even to her. Catching sight of the girl out of the corner of an eye, she turns and hovers, watching. She almost wants to ask about that, but at the same time there's a fear of startling the girl and causing her to fall.]

[Well, if she's afraid of startling her, she can always just wait for this girl to reach the wider ledge above her, which will take her a about a minute to reach. When she does, she'll be taking a seat, placing her back comfortably against the wall of the ledge. The ledge is obviously wide enough for her to sit on, or even lay on comfortable is she wants to. Time to take a slight break.]
