[Kid's been feeling guilty for not being in the action during Westport, for not being able to aid those in need. Being the literal son of (the death) god weighs heavy on a young lad's head, and he really can't shake the feeling that he should be doing something more. This, of course, means Kid has decided to help everyone feel better in the only ( Read more... )

[Becca comes into her room and finds her closet door open. That's unsettling enough, but...there's someone -in- there, and...that's where she keeps the notebooks and notebooks and notebooks full of visions of the future (and also assorted sketches of people from Mayfield, including a lot of pokemon, and several of Scout and Sniper.]

Hey!!!

['Sup, there isn't anything questionable about this scene at all. Kid is totally re-arranging those notebooks of yours, carefully trying to balance them in the absolute middle of your closet, so that the sizes and colors line up symmetrically.]

Really! Is this yours? Where were you raised, a barn? Look at this! How do you sleep at night, with such a monstrosity weighing on your mind?!

[Thankfully, the notebooks are all identical on the outsides at least, though Becca's more concerned with their -contents-. There's a couple 'monstrosities' in there, and she cringes a bit.]

Hey, I hate it too, but...

Well! About time someone thought with some sense. Here, come here.

[That's all he needed, alternate interpretations and misunderstandings aside. Kid places a sketchbook on either side of his arrangement in unison, then looks back at Becca.]

Putting off balance will only lead to further chaos; if such a thing has been bothering you for so long, I'd be more than happy to teach you the proper methods of keeping things neat and precise.

[[Massimo's sitting in his room when he notices Kid going by.]]

...Um... hello.

Why are you in my house?

Oh? Good afternoon! I didn't expect anyone to be home. Just a little good Samaritan work!

[Kid peers into the room, and oh dear sweet honorable father what have you done. He immediately dives into the room, and begins to re-arrange the furniture.]

...Yes, but why are you rearranging my furniture? I like it the way it is.

[[He's just going to sit on his bed and watch him with mild interest. He makes no move to stop him, since he's lazy, but it still surprises him.]]

Well! Then, I'm afraid you're getting it wrong. Nothing is more beautiful and therapeutic in the world that perfect balance, which is just what the town needs after such heavy trauma!

[Yeah, that bed? Kid is grabbin' a corner, and attempting to pull it towards the middle of the room. Slowly. Ineffectually.]

Really-- ahn, I! I really can't imagine how you've been sleeping like this! Disgusting!

[Hey. HEY. What the hell do you think you're doing in my house?! Just as Eruka's about to storm out and give this person a piece of her mind-

Oh hell.

What...is a Shibusen brat doing in her house.]

[Doot doot doot, don't mind Kid, he's just working to make the world a more beautiful, balanced place. After a couple beats, he finally realizes that someone has walked up behind him. Oh, the master of the house? How delightful.

He turns around--]

[Here approaches a girl wearing a blanket, possibly being wrapped a little too tightly to care about symmetry due to the excitement of it being there, watching you there.]

Hello?

mydedicatedfix May 10 2010, 18:17:08 UTC
Oh? Hello?

[Kid turns around from his work, what? That pile of blankets wasn't there befo-- oh, is that someone inside? He walks over, totally examining you.

Then attempts to adjust your blankets so they fold around your symmetrically.]

[She grips onto her blankets tightly, turning a little.]

Stop that!

But just look at you! Look at your folds! To leave them like this is, is, it's unforgivable!

[gasp oh no you dare speak out against the ~ultimate aesthetic~]

Why, improving your living space, of course! All things considered, goodness, more than anyone you need the help.

You can thank me later.

[ahahaha.

haha.

Viktoria wants to hurt you. Badly. But she's just going to smile pleasantly instead.]

Oh? Most housebreakers tend to remove things from a home, not rearrange them.

[She looks down at the kitchen table and sees the salt and pepper shakers have been meticulously placed in the exactly center. She reaches down and slides the salt shaker forward an inch. Still smiling.]

mydedicatedfix May 10 2010, 18:44:15 UTC
[OH GOODNESS WHAT ARE YOU DOING, Kid sweeps in right after Viktoria and quickly moves the salt back to where it was, then goes back to his main task at hand.]

Housebreaker? Really, you must be mistaken! I didn't break a single thing while entering, rather, I came in cleanly and efficiently without breaking a thing.
