Your book sounds good! But a tad formal, I think it might be the way you naturally write though, haha :)

Thank you! I'll write more on weekends because that's when I don't have to be in camp. Yeah I do agree it sounds formal. Haha maybe will edit more next time, it's still the very first draft anyway! :D
