Ah yes, 92.00 dollars to see the former Material Girl, (she performed that particular song while strumming on her guitar-one of her reinventions I'm guessing, but when it came time for the wicked guitar riff, well, let's just say she hasn't reinvented herself to the point of producing a wicked guitar riff, a real guitarist took over for that while

But seriously, I have to respect her for picking up the guitar. To many female performers see the six string as some dirty guy thing. I'll never forget the first time I saw Chrissie Hynde slinging that strat. I experienced something very close to...lust.
Didn't you once mention that you played a little. Sorry.
BTW, in case you don't know, this is F___ F___ Steve.

Not sure if you are taking offense to my 'review' of the show. I don't really mind that Madonna plays the guitar. I think she's done a hell of a lot with her life and can do whatever she wants. The journal entry was more a comment on my life than hers.
My journal entry is just another way of looking at things and lampooning whatever I want to, Because.I.Can.
Sure, she took on a new skill. Good for her. But I don't have to sing her praises every time she does something. She also writes rather insipid children's books that people buy.
My journal is where my sarcastic and cynical side can vent itself. And it needs venting these days.
I met Bruce Springstten in a record store in the late 1970s. Just me and him. He smiled at me. I didn't know it was him until other people surrounded him for autographs.

I still have the autograph he signed...it was on the cardboard cover of an eight-track tape!!!! And I have another one from him, which I completely forget how I came to have, on a pink phone message 'While You were Out' sheet. It is actually now serving as the backing for a photograph. Maybe someday someone will find it when I'm gone.
Funny thing about those Pretender seats..I had called Ticketron at 3 in the afternoon the day the tickets went on sale. I had forgotten to call earlier, and when they came in the mail, they were front row center. I don't know how that happened...stuff like that hardly ever does happen. I remember the usher telling us to keep going...I thought for sure it couldn;t be true. And I turned around and looked at all the people behind me. It was lots of fun.
