Feel free, if your character doesn't have sepecial powers of any sort(I don't think that applies to anyone), to notice she's petting the air, or see her and her pup.]

[and Sakura happens to be floating walking by. She sees the young girl and the spirit dog and gets curious. She approaches them, this time walking as not to startle the girl. However she still has this ethereal aura to her and while she's not see-through, her clothes and hair are still moved by an unseen breeze]
