Our first Fourth of July
We were back in time for the celebration and we found out that the fireworks displays were going to be at a park near our apartment. That was pretty cool as we could just take a slow walk there rather than drive. Roads were blocked to accommodate the crowd and for the first time we saw that many pedestrians. Although it was a cold night and the displays started at 9.30 PM, tonnes of people gathered with their picnic chairs and all. It was quite an experience!
There is nothing not to like about the fireworks. Against the dark backdrop, the colours bursts into the skies and created beautiful art. Love it! I remember the last time I saw fireworks displays before this was on 9th August 08.
