The pattern on that carpet in the AZ airport is burned into my head from visiting my dad every summer when I was a kid. I've watched it turn shades of brown, I remember when it was new.
My most vivid memory of that airport is from when I was fifteen trying to visit my sister in Los Angeles. I had been awake for about 27 hours, I was with my boyfriend waiting at our gate and we both thought it was taking quite a while so we talked to the lady at the desk and she informed us that our tickets had been sold and the plane was gone. I still can't figure out how that happened. I was so tired that I started laughing and crying at the same time and the lady looked panicky and quickly got us seated on the next flight out. My boyfriend stared at me in wonder as the tears poured down my face through the hysterical laughter as we sat back down to wait. When i finally calmed down he said to me "Next time you do that I'm getting you with a taser!" he was laughing too though.

Awww! Jesus, that sucks. Ya, I've actually never had a problem with flying until last thanksgiving when my flight was cancelled like 3 times in a row. Turned out good though, wasn't really bothered.
