it was after a meal, where i hadn't said a word but listened to him telling a story about how he'd taken my grandmother's expensive antique rug to cover his new cadillac when it started to hail. he ordered different things for me off the menu, and i willingly tried them, not interrupting him, but nodding when i appreciated some new taste. he said ( Read more... )

thank you so much!! i deleted all my old entries, but not before printing them out, and binding them in a folder. i'm sorry. i was sure i'd probably be the only one interested in my old "messy past". :l

remembering is important. i hope to see my grandfather one more time before he goes. i will see him during this christmas season for a solid week. i hope that he is still with us then. i'm gonna walk up through that cold, snow-covered walk holding an even colder six of special export. we will sip and catch up with one another. i'll sit in my grandma's old chair. i can't wait to feel the snoopy blanket on my back. my dad, his son has put him through hell, but i know that i can make him happy just one more time. eric. sorry i gotta tell someone my thoughts, and you invoke them. so i figure i can tell you. bye sarah.
