The first one "mother/daughter" is turning out to be a big fat mess! This is the one I sanded. I still am happy I did that and like the texture left behind.. but I added more color.... then my lovely 13 yr old pipes up, "Mom that isn't you... you aren't a "blue" person".... ok so I listened to her.. The blue on her head is a flower... part of the picture. I could paint pink over it to match the other two on either side....what do yout think?

About the carnival photo (that's what you meant with the fair one?), I think I just might try it! thanks.....;o)

i still LOVE the fact that you took the sander to the first one! what an ah-ha moment that must have been.

i love your pink lady... what do you mean you can't paint? i knew you could! what a great idea to use easter grass... it worked perfectly. i can't wait to see her with a pink bow?

the fair one will be absolutely fabulous! can't wait to see what you do with that. when are you starting? :0)

I don't know that I am going to do the fair one anytime soon. I've looked at her photo a few times today and it is saying "not now".... I've got a few ideas running around in my head for another project.... plus I have a photography meet up this saturday that I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to!

A Photography Meet Up is an actual "meet up" via www.meetup.com. Just go on there and enter your zip code and they will show you a list of varis "meet up" groups and the interests in your area. You can subscribe and have fun.

So far, I'm on 3, the Photography (which goes on field trips once a month), ATC (which is led by a "character" and held at a cool restaurant), and Altered Books (which I'm the moderator, but only one other person is willing to "meet", so we haven't had a meeting yet.

Anyways..... it's a great way for me to get out and about and meeting others! .......oh.... and being creative at the same time! ;o)
