Corset & Dress 1

Mar 22, 2005 10:48

Here are the first two of my Lesson 2 completed assignments. I'll put them behind the cut for those on a slower connection (me!) In order to scan, I have to lay a towel over the top of 3D elements, hence the fuzzy edges! :) I wasn't nearly as happy with the corset as the dress - I'm having a hard time thinking of an *empty* corset I guess.

Thanks Jacqueline! After thinking about it I decided to do a Google search on corset images - smart idea! - as I came up with a treasure trove of ideas for ornamentation! Who knew these - what I thought of as bland - undergarments were so frilly and lacey and austentacious! Clearly I am NOT a girly girl! lol

Thanks! It was actually the gallery of images on google that impressed me. Okay, could do without the bondage stuff but I just overlooked'em!

The first 3 pages in particular. Enjoy! :)

Reading your comment and then Jacqueline's response was very helpful to me as well. I wish I had thought of looking at corsets on line. Oh well, I have now and what a big help. Thanks.

Actually, I love that towel technique! It can be used to enhance the edges of artwork too!

hehehe...just sneaking a peak at Jaq's wonderful class here...those look great!

The towel does look cool on some things to be sure - though a pain when all you want is crisp clear lines!

Jacqueline's class has been wonderful - glad you're enjoying the results! :)
