this was the best gift of the year.
it takes a kind and caring guy's perspective; a friend and confidant; a fellow christian, packed all in one, to knock it, solidly into me.
it cleared my mind, lightened my heart and freed me from the remaining stray ties.

can you find me a guy who is child-like in humour and has a carefree attitude towards living, yet, has mature thoughts and responsible approaches and goals of the future, as well as have an ability to be in a love commitment and is capable enough to support and assure me of a life together? oh yes, with clean straight teeth and a nice smile? no?

i find it truly amazing
how without love to readily give,
without heartbreak and
pain to remorse then rejoice,
without a focus on someone i
feel is treasured enough to dedicate my love to,
i'm left without words
of my own with real meaning,
and a journal once so filled
with passion overflowing,
is now soul-less and sadly uninspiring.
