Hope they look okay. (Of course they're old and faded anyway.) I can't tell for sure because my computer monitor is fizzling out and the color isn't very good. Think I've lost red completely.
Hank didn't always write suggestive comments on the cards, just now and then and usually just on his favorites. I'm Including some of them here.

(This the first postcard Hank ever sent Ed. Written on the back: "Hey Ed, Havin’ a terrible time. Wish you were here. Got one a your shirts by mistake. Gonna hang onto it. Love that shirt. Always will.’”)
1: "My ASS-ociates and I Send You Our Greetings"
(Hank didn't add anything to this card besides "Havin a terrible time. Wish you were here." He was tempted to cross out "ociates" but figured Ed would think that was going too far.)
2: "West Texas Working Cowboy, Rear View" - "Time Out to Roll His Own!"
(Written on the back: "Hey Ed, Havin a terrible time. Wish you were here. Think I seen this guy somewhere before. Kinda looks llike a real good friend a mine from Wyoming.")
"Fishing is Great"
(This one broke Ed's already broken heart. But it was probably the one he looked at most often back then. Hank thinks this one is really Ed's favorite. I know it's mine. Written on the back: "Hey Ed, Havin a terrible time. Wish you were here. P.S. Dont this look like the best place in the world?")
(Yep, Hank even found a postcard of sheep. Written on the back: "Hey Ed, Havin a terrible time. Wish you were here. Never thought I'd miss tendin sheep so bad.")
"Dudes or Cowpunchers . . . . . . Which?"
(Or gay cowboys? Definitely gay cowboys. Written on the back: "Hey Ed, Havin a terrible time. Wish you were here. Think that guys pointin at some sweet ranch. Gonna have that someday.")
"West Texas Cowboy Riding a Jack Rabbit"
(Written on the back: "Hey Ed, Havin a terrible time. Wish you were here. Sure ride some interestin critters down here. Course we rode some pretty excitin things in Wyoming too.")
(You can see why Ed didn't like the rodeo postcards. Written on the back: "Hey Ed, Havin' a terrible time. Wish you were here. Had a lot better luck stayin on that buckin bronc I rode in Wyoming. Just held on real tight.")

(Written on the back: "Hey Ed, Havin a terrible time. Wish you were here. Pretty fancy when your used ta takin a bath in a creek. Ha! Ha!")
