Oh, NO! Bill and Betty splitting up! It feels a bit like the end of the world =(
But the dialogues are so funny and so *them*... And then Hank says “Ya sure as hell do tie me down... but not against my will...” which is the essence of giving one’s heart, i.e. choosing someone/something and *not* choosing everybody/everything else, and is a long way deeper better stronger more meaningful that merely feeling good with someone else, because it joins the “no” to the “yes” and so makes a whole, 3D, rooted and growing, with-knobs-on LURVE.
Oh, whew, how I missed this.

Hank does kinda enjoy being tied down literally - And he doesn't mind it at all much figuratively either. (Well maybe justa little bit sometimes) :=)

And now Hank isn't so sure what's going on with Bill and Betty - Hank and Ed saw Bill and Betty talking together outside a restaurant in town a couple of nights ago. They don't know what it was about because Bill isn't talking and Ed won't ask him and Hank hasn't been alone with Bill so he could ask him - But Hank is sure hoping it involves them getting back together 'cause he'd really love having them both on the ranch.

I love Ed and Hank so much -- I have really missed them (and you too!) But I can't believe that Bill and Betty are splitting up now. That's just awful.

I am wondering what else Hank will put on his shopping list? [g]

Thank you so much for sharing this.

Don't think there's enough room here to list everything else Hank put on his list... You name it, Hank wants it. :=)

Yep, all the fancy houses, and the fancy things available these days is nice but when you come down to it the memories we build in a home and the little odd things of an older home make it special and unique. Not saying we should let our homes get run down and out of shape, we can fix them up and keep them happy just like that. But, to move away from the memories is hard and hurts. About 2 years ago we inherited a fancy nancy house with all the fun stuff but, in the end we decided to sell and keep the house we have memories in. We would have liked to move to that house it had bedrooms on two ends like your wanted and 4 bathrooms so we when my huge family comes to visit they would not be under foot as much. But, in the end we decided to stay in our home with memories even though not large and spacious and with all the extra bathrooms and such. My hardest part would be leaving out gardens I have spent so much time and energy with my Pat planting and planning our gardens we have a pretty nice set up with that. But, than fate ( ... )

Hank and Ed probably should fix the old place up a little more - (without losing those physical dents dings that keep those memories alive so well) - Maybe adding the new bedroom on will inspire them.

Sure can understand why you wouldn't want to leave your garden either - they are a labor of love that takes time to get established and then over all that time they grow and thrive and develop a wonderful character all their own.

LOVE that you were able to buy the house across the street for guests! That is the absolutely perfect set up (especially for crying babies). Must be fun to get so many visitors! (Hank would LOVE more visitors...) Have a great time with your cousin and his wife and the new baby!

Yep - Hank is glad they realized soon enough just what they'd be giving up.

Hank will definitely tell you what's going on with Bill and Betty when he finds out exactly what that might be.

So glad you enjoyed the music!

How long's it been...? graciesdaddy April 21 2013, 02:13:35 UTC
...since we first looked in on Ed 'n' Hank? However long it's been, it seems like yesterday! It's an honor to go down this trail with them. Give 'em hugs from me... And hug Edthedawg & Hankthedawg, too!

Consider everyone hugged real good! And a big ol' hug back to you and Gracie too. Hank managed to post last month - But before that, as near as he can figure it's been over two years. If it wasn't one thing, it was another... Crazy how time goes soooo damn fast.
