It’s been two months since their separation day. Both Sungmin and Kyuhyun can never forget that day. Kyuhyun has been doing his daily life lifelessly. Ryeowook is so worried about him, so she send foods and visit him everyday. Yes, Kyuhyun has told her about him and Sungmin breaking up. He even told Hyukjae because he asked him about Sungmin’s absent. Thank God Hyukjae didn’t blame him, and now they become a quite close friends.
Sungmin has calmed down now ever since she came back home. She cried and refused to eat on her first days at home, making Heechul and her Sungjin-oppa worried. And of course she cried a lot to see her mother in coma. Her mother woke up after Sungmin always beside her, talking to her unconscious state continuously.
Sungmin feels grateful when her mother’s getting better and better, after... Sungmin promised to handle company and will marry Siwon in the future. Sungmin knows it is time for her to give in. She already could accept Siwon slowly, because somehow he become a nicer guy. He treats her just like a gentleman should do now. So, she decide to give him a chance although deep in her heart, there’s always Kyuhyun’s name being engraved.
How i wish you were this nice since the beginning, Siwon.. So i didn’t have to run away... and met him.
She breaks down every time she remember Kyuhyun. Crying in the middle of the night becomes her habit. She has no idea how Siwon can manage to accept this lifeless and heartless part of her, that she never show any interest towards him. Siwon might already learned a lesson. Now he doesn’t want to lose her because he eventually fall in love and he feels she is a part of his responsibility now. Siwon has promised her mother to take good care of her.
It’s like a daily routine. Siwon will fetch Sungmin in the morning, go to office together.. their office, because the two companies will be merged once they get married. Then he will ride her home in silence. But Siwon is still glad to see her every day, especially every time he look at her finger. At least she wears my ring. Siwon might be so pathetic, but he will do anything to keep her as his own.
“Min..” Siwon starts to break the silence.
“I told you don’t call me like that.” Sungmin coldly cut him off, massaging her temple.
Min... It always remind her of Kyuhyun. He used to call her like that, lovingly.
“Okay, i’m sorry. I just wanna ask whether you’re feeling fine or not. Because you look unwell and pale. Want me to take you to a doctor?” Siwon has stopped the car and pay attention to her. He hesitantly extend his hand, trying to stroke her shoulder to comfort her. Once she doesn’t protest, he stroke and massage her.
“I’m just tired and having a headache, okay. I’m sorry, Siwon. I didn’t mean to be like that. Just let me go home and then i can have some rest. It’s probably just... low blood pressure. It’s not something new, don’t worry.” She gives him a weak smile which doesn’t even reach her eyes, touch his hand on her shoulder reassuringly.
Somehow Sungmin feels guilty towards her fiance that she never really pay attention to him. Even in her worst days, Siwon is there comforting her patiently. Sungmin still has no idea how could he change 180 degrees like this. Not that she complains, but it feels weird that now she’s the one who often snap at him without any reason. And after that, she always feel guilty.
“Sungmin... You know i care about you. I’ve promised myself and your mom that i will take good care of you. I regret what i’ve done to you in the past. I realize... i don’t want to disappoint you anymore, because i don’t want you leave me again. I’m sorry.” Siwon confesses as they stops in front of Sungmin’s house. He squeezes her hand hoping she will understand what he mean. I’ve fallen for you...
Finally Sungmin curves a genuine smile for him while nodding her head in understanding. “I’m sorry, too. No, don’t interrupt me. I know i have done wrong too.”
“It’s okay.. now you go inside. It’s getting cold and you’re not feeling good neh. You don’t have to go to work tomorrow if you’re sick.” Siwon suggest concernedly.
“Neh.. i’m fine. I’ll still go to work tomorrow. So.. see you in the morning.” Sungmin opens the car door. But as she steps out, she feels dizzy and then stumble a bit. Thank God she still can manage to balance herself. She heaves a heavy sigh, glad Siwon didn’t see it.
That night, Sungmin doesn’t even take a bath as she feels so tired and just need a rest immediately. She wash her face and brush teeth, then hide herself under blanket after changed clothes. How she wish there was someone who could warm her up at time like this.

She smiles as he takes her hand on his. “Min.. I miss you so much.” He caress her cheek longingly. “I miss you too, Kyuhyun.” Her voice is cracking as she is in the verge of crying.
“How have you been doing lately, baby?” he now embrace her with so much passion. But she doesn’t response him with words. She lets out the tears on his chest instead, hoping he can see how much she missed him, how much she suffered after they separated.
He only squeeze her tighter. “I’m sorry i wasn’t there to catch your tears when you’re crying. I’m sorry i wasn’t there to comfort you when you’re feeling down. I’m sorry...” He kisses the top of her head.
She’s surprised when she can see the trace of tears on his face as they pull apart. It really hurts her to see him look so vulnerable like this. They remain silent for some moments, only exchange a longing gaze to each other.
“But you don’t have to worry, Min... because i will always be with you even if you don’t realize it. I’m always inside of you, you know that... Please take care of yourself neh, take care of me.” She is not sure what he means but just nod her head understandingly. Yes, inside of my heart, she thinks. But...
“Minnie.. Minnie.. wake up. What’s happening?” Sungmin’s eyes shot open as she can feel someone calling her and slap her cheek slightly.
“Minnie, you’re sick.” It’s Heechul voice, taking her to reality again. She can feel her body sweating, and feels damp on her cheek. Did i just dream of him again? Did i just cry in my sleep?
“You’re not going to office today, Minnie. Look at yourself, you’re so red. Your temperature is high but you’re sweating. I don’t allow you to go to work neh...” Heechul says firmly while she only stares blankly at her. She’s still thinking about the dream. Why does it feel so real? He came and said he miss me... I’m sure you do, Kyuhyun. She shut her eyes again as headache attack her. I miss you, Kyuhyun.
A few minutes after that, she feels someone checking her face. She tiredly opens her eyes to see a worried look from Siwon. “You’re having a fever...” His voice feels so far away. Sungmin only nods and curves her lips a little as he wipes sweat on her face with his own cloth.
“Stay home and sleep neh. Don’t forget to drink medicine. I’ll take care of everything at office.” Siwon shows his dimple when he smile. But Sungmin still can hear his worried voice. “Thank you, Siwon.” She whispers because it’s tiring if she produce any sound.
“Take care okay, i’m leaving.” Siwon’s leaving after kiss her forehead. “Noona, i trust you. Please take care of her.” Sungmin barely can hear Siwon talking to Heechul, then she curls into a ball again.
“You’re overworked and stressed, Minnie. Don’t think i don’t know. And i heard you mumbled and cried in your sleep just now.” She emotionlessly exclaims. Sungmin can’t deny it, probably she indeed mumbling and crying. So, she stays silent.
Heechul sighs, “You’re so stubborn. Oh whatever.. you have to eat this then drink your medicine if you don’t want me to call doctor.” She threatens as she gives her a bowl of chicken porridge. Heechul knows her so well that she doesn’t like doctor. Sungmin always refuse to get checked by doctor.
“Unnie.. please no. I promise i will get better in the afternoon.” She whines childishly, only to Heechul and her family she can be childish like that. And of course to Kyuhyun. Heechul softens her gaze, “Just call me or Miyoon if there’s something you need, kay?” Miyoon is the helper at their house. Now that Heechul is busy taking care of Mrs.Lee who’s still in recover, they hired this young girl to help Sungmin’s daily needs.
Sungmin sits up and rest her upper body against the head board when Heechul left. She start to eat the porridge slowly, she knows she needs to eat eventhough she feels like throwing up. Then she sleeps again after drink the meds.

She cannot sleep properly as she feels something wrong on her stomach. She whimpers in her half-awake state that she feels a sudden nausea. Then she abruptly runs to toilet as if her body works in itself. She immediately throw up on the toilet, emptying her stomach. She doesn’t even know why but she feels like crying and weak.
She weeps as she throws up over and over again until it’s only plain water which came out from her mouth. What’s happening to me? Why I feel so sick, it pains me a lot.
She leans on the wall exhaustedly after calming down, inhale and exhale heavily, put his legs close to her chest, then bury her face on it. She continues crying vulnerably, mind flying away to everywhere. She trails off, thinking about the possibility of her sickness... Her sickness in the morning. She was never like this before.
She suddenly looks fear because she just realized something. She thinks about the symptoms and relates all of them. It can not be it, right? It can’t be. She shakes her head in horror. But then she immediately call Miyoon to buy something in the nearest drug store, making sure she won’t tell anyone about this.

Her heart beats faster than ever as she waits for the result, biting her lip in nervous. A minute feels like in hell, she curse inside her head.
Then she feels so weak as she look at the two stripes on the test pack. Oh God, oh no... this is not real. This thing can make mistake, right?
But then again, as she thinks about it.. she hasn’t got her period yet even since she came home. She thought it must be because she’s in stressed now so her period time is messed up. Never she thought that this must be because of... pregnancy.
She weeps and sobs again on her legs, what if this is true? And then she remember her dream last night...
“...because i will always be with you even if you don’t realize it. I’m always inside of you, you know that... Please take care of yourself neh, take care of me.”
Is that what it’s all about?
She chuckles to herself in tears, “Cho Kyuhyun... I’m carrying your baby. Our baby...” She whispers hoarsely, caressing her tummy and staring blankly at whatever in front of her. She feels weak and it doesn’t relate to her sickness.
“What am i supposed to do now, Kyuhyun? Tell me what should i do...” Tears are stubborn that they keep rolling down her cheeks. She’s screaming Kyuhyun’s name in her head, hoping she could deliver the message that she needs him right now.
But no way... she’s getting married with someone else. And now how could she tell Siwon about this? Moreover to her parents. She feels like killing herself right now.
