Dear anyone who works for the government and is in charge of writing out documents that you send to people...or anyone in charge of sending out documents to people,

If you don't mean exactly what you say in the letter you send, REWORD IT SO IT MAKES SENSE.

What happened? I mean, I figure it has to do with disability stuff, but what did they say and not mean?

I got the letter in February saying My last payment would be in March. "As of 2/12 you are no longer disabled. You will receive payment for this month and the two months following. You last payment will be for 4/12." is actually what the letter says. Leading me to understand I would get money this month and, you know, be able to pay rent. I looked at my account yesterday and nothing had been deposited. So I called the local SS office and spoke to a woman who could not only NOT find my letter in my case but also said my March payment was an overpayment and I'd probably have to pay it back. So I argued with her for awhile before she dinally said she'd need to have someone else look at it and they'd get back to me.

I called again this morning because no way was I sitting around, ttwiddling my thumbs while I waited for someone from the government to call me back and THIS woman said no, payments were retroactive, meaning they were for the month previous. To which I said, "That makes no sense and contradicts what I was told yesterday. If ( ... )

I think that the only thing you can do is go to the officer with the letter. Really, they may not honor it? But you should definitely not have to pay March if it was their fuck up.
