Thank you. The wintry ones have been the most popular so far.

Thank you. As with drabbles, I've been surprised at how much you can pack into a small container.

They're great! I'm glad you posted them.

I really like the starfish actually.

Thank you.

There's a lot of color that isn't showing on the starfish, but the scan did pick up the movement that you can get with scratchboard. It's a fun medium if you don't mind inhaling india ink.

I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering if everything was OK. Seems that it is.

They're all really lovely. I like composition and texture in The apples that Pony wants.

Thank you. I'm finding that I'm doing a lot of barn and cabin related pictures because scratchboard does the texture so well.

I'm sadly behind with keeping up on LJ. Between taking Spanish classes and trying to produce at least one card a night, I haven't been doing much else.

Are you feeling better since we last spoke?

Thank you. The mill is part of a four seasons set and probably destined to be my mother's Christmas present. I'm loving the way scratchboard lets me do texture--so old buildings and barns are newly exciting to me!

I'll have to touch bases with rain_oubliette and see if she can point toward some good trading. Thank you for letting me know.

i'm sure she'll know. She does mostly anthropomorphics but i don't know where all she does the trading. She loves crafts and art of all kinds.

i've never used a scratchboard then again art/drawing is the one artistic thing i had next to no talent for. I can manage decent stuff in many arts but not that sadly. I do appreciate it though

I'm finding the scratchboard is fairly hard to find, which surprises me since it used quite a bit for illustrated art. I think a lot of people are using computer programs to simulate the look.
