Thank you. The mill is part of a four seasons set that I did, and will probably end up as my mother's Christmas present. I've put it in a shadow box, and added fake foliage.

I've been letting the artwork take over all my LJ time but I haven't forgotten about 'Return of the Key'. You've made it very difficult for me to be disciplined and stay with drawing instead of reading.

You'll be getting a bunch of remarks in about a month as I gulp in the story in one big satisfying read.

It is finished now - and there is a shortish story almost finished to compliment it!

I like reading stories all in one go. I hope that you enjoy it.

That picture will certainly make a lovely Christmas present as part of a set.

Thank you. It's part of four season set that I'll probably give to my mother for Christmas.

Have you ever done any ATCs or ACEOs? They remind me so much of drabbles--it's surprising how much you can get in, and they really make you rethink how you are seeing things.

No, I'd never even heard of it. That does seem similar to drabbles. Cool!

Wow, those are great -- even the ones with snow in them. :-)

Thank you.

The winter pictures have been quite popular--I think it must be like watching horror movies. You get the feeling without any of the discomfort.

Maybe you're right. I have this horrified fascination with watching the Weather Channel this time of year, when they rush their crews to the scene of the first snowfalls.

Glad you liked them.

I wanted people to know I wasn't just ignoring them. I'm trying to do at least one of these a day, and that pretty much takes up my spare time.

Hopefully these will pay for most of my christmas shopping!
