if it's any consolation, about 6 months ago my dog went missing from my backyard and i did exactly what you did-posted flyers, offered rewards, searched the streets. the next day i went to Every local pet store and called every pet store in the phone book and it turns out one of them had her. some sick greedy fuck had stolen her and sold her to some dime-store pet place downtown. i dont know if you have already tried, but if not, call every pet store in your area...steve could be at one of them. anyway, best of luck, i will cross my fingers for you. xoxo.
