Ugh, a few weeks ago I bought a nice little sweatervest from Salvation Army, to wear as part of a costume when I go see DH2 with one of my best friends forever. I washed it, dumped it unceremoniously onto an easy chair I have down here in the basement, and now that I'm looking for it, I can't bloody find it

Did you check in the cushions? If someone sat in the chair, it might have pushed the vest into the cracks. Not that this has ever happened to me. :\ DAD.

Maybe in the closet on a hangar UNDER something else. Sometimes I double hang things because i've run out of room.
Could also be beside your dresser if it fell down.
