The Cubbie

We got the little room done for Jill. She was so excited. I wish I had a picture of her painting it. I trimmed it out and she did most of the rest. Her first "real" painting project. I'm so proud of her.

Cleaned out, painted, but not vacuumed (we'd sprayed it down for spiders cause it was really cluttered before it was cleaned out and hadn't been gone through in a LONG time.)

This is some of the "junk" we'd stuffed up in the top while we were cleaning it out.

A look from outside the room.

A closer look.

Important friends now have their own space on that previously junked top shelf.

I found a teeny bookshelf at Target for $10. Everything else we had here. Except the lamp. Wal-Greens. $9.

As well as I could make a picture inside this teeny room.

Her corkboard.

Yes, she has her whole computer system in there. Along with a little Sharper Image "feel good" fan. I can't tell you what a great thing this has turned out to be. She has all the space she wants. She practices her music in there and it doesn't drive us all nuts. She does her reading. She plays on the computer.

Sometimes things work out and sometimes they don't. I'm elated with this one.
