I use VLC Player, & GIMP for making animated gifs; for movies that are on instant watch I just use th Mac command+shift+3. Michael has a PC, though, & uses Photoscape for gifs.

also: my winnipeg is definitely my favorite --- such a super good, radically adventurous pseudo-documentary thingy. it's really tongue-in-cheek and surreal but so personal and jarringly touching. you remind me that i have to show it to some of my friends! also, HDS is the best. yes, more stockwell would be nice. uhm, totally looking forward to the school of the holy beast gifs!
