I'm hoping that this cycle will finally bring you the child for whom you've been longing...but if it goes another way....I'm glad to see you thinking about other avenues for your care and comfort. And regardless of what happens with this cycle, I'm glad to see you thinking about a career that would be fulfilling for you.

I totally get this, in fact you know I've been thinking similar kinds of thoughts. If I'm not going to be a mother, then I have to be fulfilled by my work, otherwise there doesn't seem to be any point to getting up in the morning.

I hope you get to be a mother, but if not, I think you'll make a great nurse. Or maybe you can do both (eventually) and go to nursing school once the kid(s) are a few years old.
