Pity help the person I have to save!

Well, today we did our First Aid certificate course. There were 14 students in total, and we all ended up being at least reasonably competent. Most of it seems to be common sense, but it is reassuring to know that we are doing the best possible thing, and it certainly made us think about a few situations that we might not have etherwise ( Read more... )

Hey there! It was very good to hear from you. I just had to do First Aid/CPR certification about 3 weeks ago myself. It's a good thing to know, but still one of those skills I'd rather not have to use. I nearly had to in San Francisco, though - this guy was just waiting to cross Market Street downtown and got hit by a car! It was crazy, and definitely a little scary, but the guy was OK...just some cuts and bruises. Peace!
