Today is World Autism Awareness Day! All children are special, but I have been fortunate enough to meet a few wonderful children who are even more special than others. They have autism. I've worked with various people over the years who had autism. One kid I worked with at Easter Seals was my fave of the bunch. He may have bitten me, but I loved him to death! There was also an adorable boy at the state hospital where I work.

I think it's really important to raise awareness, because I think to many people right now autism is just an empty diagnosis. They don't really know what it involves. That's why I think it's fantastic that you were touched by some kids with autism, because they are wonderful little humans... :)

I watched it!!!!!!!

I had to fight to keep my eyes open and I probably would have fallen asleep over it if it had been any other show but I watched it!!!! I just couldn't go until Sunday or whatever, so I watched it last night when I got home. Which means I didn't go to sleep before 1am.

I iz tired... zzzzz...

It looked like both he and you had such a great time on the pics that I've seen by now... He seems like a really cool kid!
