two of my friends out here just had a baby - they named her helena.

my rabbit friend i lived with as a kid liked century-old triple-varnished wood more than the fresh plain wood i gave him in his cage. he also had a taste for electrical wires, and once chewed through a garden hose to get to them (so much for rabbit-proofing.)
my roomate had a rabbit when i first lived with her, and he adored sneaking fresh orange peels (poisonous to rabbits) despite their giving him day-long bellyaches afterwards.

i love rabbits to bits.. but gosh, they're thick.
