Some of them are indeed, but still, I think there are a few worth of attention.
As much as I don't understand why people like Amakusa-san thinks gossiping is so fun, I still think that rumors must be come from somewhere... I'm afraid there can at least a single drop of truth in some of them, which is why people should be careful.

I guess that's why some people like gossiping, there's always that tiny possibility that there's truth in them. At least, the ones that are obviously not utterly ridiculous.

But rumors are more troublesome than they should be.

I agree, that's why I don't understand why it's so funny. Gossips and rumors can sometime cause unnecessary scandals, and ruin someone's life as well. Though I think that, to a certain degree, if you're in a scandal, it's your fault. You should have been more careful to begin with.
