It's about time someone on my friends list actually said something along those lines.

i won't live with it. i will protest his very existence with every little ounce of love i have in my heart.
someone has to take a stand against the wrong.
i'm ashamed of our country, and severely worried about us all.
what you do to others comes back ten fold, and i think it's our turn to get the brunt of this.

i wish i could keep our people safe.
i wish i could keep the iraqi children free from harm and starvation.
i'll do everything in my power to help. and i will let George W. Bush know that somehow.

an honest inquiry.... stars2hidescars November 5 2004, 04:34:12 UTC
"i would rather kerry fight an efficient war and get our boys home than have bush dick around in iraq for money.i never said kerry would stop our war, but i do believe he would "wrap it up"- so to speak."

Doesn't a more efficient war = more lives lost than whatever kind of war we're fighting right now?? I mean...maybe you have been better informed than I, but in my opinion Kerry was just saying that he would disregard loss of life in Iraq completely. That includes those little, starving Iraqi children. I would rather Bush keep "dicking around" if he can help them put their fucked up country back together again. Aren't we, as well as the Iraqis, better off this way?

How was Bush so much of a better candidate than Kerry? Inform me.

Its okay molls, just keep it civilized with me :P, but you'd be surprised at some of the soldiers that come back and say we NEED to be over there and that it is a good thing. Those men and women know when they sign up for the air force/army/navy/national guard/marines etc etc that they might be sent to war, so in a sense they're willingly accepting the call of duty.

its done starsfrgttn November 7 2004, 04:38:32 UTC
whats done is done...its over now, america has spoken her peace. we will let it be for four more years, there is a future, live in the now, and pray for tomorrow, thats all i can say. personally i'm pro-george, but i also have no room to talk, seeing as how i don't vote, its not bc i dont' care, its bc i don't feel like i have enough time to stay truly informed about the issues in the world, and i don't see it as fair to vote for someone without being informed. that is my peace, i hope the world finds its peace.

I think we are in there for a good reason... elementof1 November 7 2004, 22:35:01 UTC
I think going in there and taking Sadam out of power was the best thing that ever happened to that country. Sadam himself would rape women and children then kill them, I'm sure that he wasn't the only male in Iraq that did that and got away with it. They were killing eachother and taking lives some times the fightig side would send someone to be killed so that they could have another marter. They are killing our troops, yes but WE ARE fighting the war on terror and those men and women in he armed forces knew that before they joined. Most, not all, but most of them signed up so they could defend a country that they love and trust in. This is not a new war and I don't feel that Kerry could do half the job that Bush did. Kerry is sneeky and 2-sided on everything. He voted for the war in Iraq then denied it and just now said, before the electon, that he would continue the war in Iraq. He also voted against the 87 billion to found the troops in Iraq. If you are anti-war then you should have voted for the Libertarian canidate Badnarick. I ( ... )
