I've been e-mailing back and forth with my dad, working on plans for a vacation we're planning on taking together. The original idea was for us to meet in Ashland with the bikes and backpacks for ten days of hiking, biking and river rafting. Sorry, I never know how to respond to this, but I know how stupid it can be to break into the FTM communtiy up here an I swear I'm not trying for a brush off. You know where to find me, plus, I facilitate a monthly social group for FTM's. We meet at the Caffiene Cafe (Denny Triangle) once a month. Cool. I might check it out some time. I run the networking community ftmvanity. I'm considering doing some kind of webnetwork that provides resources and group information that kind of facilitates community purpose. I'm not sure what I'll call it but we've taken the first steps to begin coding. I do professional web-design. I think you'd be an awesome asset and I'd love to, when the site is finished, promote your group. :)

Awesome that things may be going better with your dad. I never had the best relationship with mine. I moved to LA and we have been getting along better. My family is actually going on a vacation this summer. I'm hoping it goes as planned. Hope you are well. We should catch up sometime. :-)

I had gathered that. This is really strange for me, as I've never had a great relationship with mine either. I think that now that I'm out and at least partialy transitioned I can move forward with an honest relationship with mine that I never could before. It's ground I haven't tread since I was 6.
I'm glad you are doing better with your dad, and I hope your vacation goes well. It sucks that we never got together when you were up in the northwest, and it also sucks that we didn't meet before I moved away from the central coast. We sould definatly catch up.
