A less organized entry

Feb 11, 2007 03:21

Another catching up entry, less organized with more random pictures, because I keep forgetting to take pictures on my way to school from the second station.

Tokyo Tower, the way I see it on my way to school everyday. Sweet. XD

A snapshot of Akihabara 'electric town' at night.

Me and a giant mario statue (Super Potato)

One Piece movie poster! Sweet!

GAMERS! Digiko's store :D

Me with the TV crew who put me and Matt on TV!

Somehow, we missed the airing of the program ;___;

Story: We were walking around in Akihabara, and the TV crew was wasking foreigners what they liked to take pictures of in Japan, and asked if we had our cameras on us. So we took out our cameras, and showed them our pictures, and they asked us questions about why we took the pictures we did, and if we knew about certain things (cosplay, j-rock, etc.) So it was to be on TV, but we missed it ;___;

A greatly amusing poster I see on my way to school, telling you not to dump grease and ol down the drain :D (I think I may have posted it before... but oh well, it's funny enough for a second look!)

Gokinjo monogatari on dvd!!! I want it ;___; It's waaay too expensive for me though X_X (aprx 200 USD @_x)

A giant GiGi!!! They had other giant Totoro stuff too. SWEET.

The next batch of pictures are from...

Japanese Denny's!!!! XD Yes, Japan has Denny's, but they are GREATLY different.

Matts melon cream soda

My dinner: 'hamburger steak', egg, broccoli, corn, fries, and rice. Mmmm, it was soooo good.

A picture of the entrance sign for Nakano Broadway, an area in Nakano where there is a strip of shopping and arcades. Everything is cheapppp! I love it :D

Now for some of the things i've gotten...

Cool socks! 5 pairs for 1000 yen! Bought at Don Quixote, a 24 hour wierd store that sells everything from pocky to flatscreens. (aprx 9 USD)

An adorabe mushroom bag from a store in Shibuya called "Blue Brain"

The most gothic lolita wallet I have ever seen.

Rose of Versailles Gachapon figures! OMG! They come with little changable outfits! COOL!!

Thats the end of this mini update. Next time, Sunshine City in Ikebukuro! And Probably my small amount of Harajuku photos.

Thanks to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday! ( I will also post pictures of my 'cakii' (cake)
