The Buddhist gods are probably some of the Bodhisattva. Basically they are people who could have obtained nirvana but decided to delay it so that they could help out mankind.

That zoom is awesome! Did you get the camera there? What type is it? I want one for all my pics.

Only 5 days until Dan and I are hanging out with you guys in Tokyo! (6 for you guys, since your fourteen hours behind)

I can't wait. I do the dance of the impatient.

:dances:

Also, I'm learning Japanese. If we run into any dogs, cats, or young children inside toy cars, I'm going to be absolutely eloquent.

Also, I know how to say elephant, so we are required to go to the zoo.

I didn't know you had an LJ Heather XD

Yea, I got the camera here. It's an Olympus FE-190, and It has English XD

I think it cost me like 200 dollars or something, which isnt bad in my opinion. I really needed a new camera.

HOORAY! <3 can't wait to see you!!!!

Hey are you still in Japan?
I'm planning a trip with my friends... we wanted to get out of Canada. :)
I was wondering if you could give me some info on the *affordable* places to stay, places to go out, etc!

It's a lot more simple then it may seem :) Once you figure out what city/cities you want to stay in, which depends on what you want to see/do while you're there.

Once you figure that out, just do a Google search for youth hostels in the city in which you're going to stay. They're really cheap, and usually run about $20-$40 a night. If you want to go a little more upscale, you're going to have to search for a ryokan (inn) which has English speakers that work there. They usually run about $75-$100 a night.

Once you know where you want to stay and what you want to do, I can give you a much better idea on things to do and whatnot :)
