Reality. That is such bullshit, and I will tell you why: because who the hell could ever fathom - in the first place, first and foremost - who could ever hope to fathom what reality is? And then if you could, you're sure as hell not going to accept it. With or without an analogy. Which is fucking ridiculous because, no, listen to what you're saying

Anyway, I totally agree with you. Spiritual Enlightenment is just a stupid excuse to use drugs. People that feel like they need to justify their drug use with spirituality are really stupid. If they really cared about spiritual experiences, they should just take a walk in nature, pray, or meditate. Sometimes they'll do that just to make their drug use seem more genuinely spiritual, but they're just fooling themselves.

You know what, when I take one too many sleeping pills, I feel dopey and then I fall asleep. Big deal. But if those same sleeping pills were illegal, people would be seeing God when they take them. It's all dumb.

Your reality is based solely on your perceptions. Drugs can alter your perceptions, and therefore can alter your reality. It relieves some of the tedium that many people experience in their lives. If you learn to broaden your perceptions without aid, your reality can become more fulfilling.

Apparently, our realities differ, because in my reality, "analogy" and "reality" don't rhyme.
