Ain't it funny

a lot of times when i listen to instrumental music i attempt to pair it up with a time of day
like the songs with a lot of crescendo make me think of getting up in the morning
most of the time my associations are idealistic
like Ghost of a Future Lost makes me think of waking up with the sun and being well rested
i guess its kinda goofy but I like the ( Read more... )

ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF A HAMPSTERS' MIND joelthemole09 March 2 2007, 04:39:59 UTC
myka,
i know exactly what you mean. certain nights you want to relieve forever and others we want to erase from our memory, similar to Clementine from eternal sunshine. but we can't. this is our very personal and real identity. it's who we are, the very core of what makes us human.
i like the analogy you made to waking up in the morning with a loud crescendo. it's beautiful.
i want to go to mount airy with you, and just you. we have a lot of talking to do. i'm glad i forgot my dream from last night. that's something i want to erase.
enjoy being a "four-fingered fisherman"
modest mouse has their new album coming out in about three weeks. bleh. i miss you.
sorry for calling you at work tonight.
and enjoy being indescriable. that is what you are, after all.
love and peace,
joel louis badanes

its cool i really need a break from there. when i get calls and nothings going on then i just feel better about being there. yeah i'd like to go to mt. airy...i heard it was supposed to rain this weekend though i don't know that for sure-i bet you would though.

either way, mount airy would be lovely. if it's raining we can do an activity that would be more suitable for the indoors, but god damn does that sound appealing. and i bet you would love a reprieve from the hellacious grip of RDI marketing hehe

does dion still have teddy bear sheets? he once had those and used to brag about them
anyway in response to your lj - OIYE VAYE. just let things flow with the times. and don't worry your pretty head.
thats all i got. and joel's right, enjoy being indescribable, even if he spells it wrong.

no he has plaid sheets now w/ this giant blue comforter...everything else is the same though
he'd probably had those sheets for forever because there were about to fall apart when they finally were replaced

you know what else? it's funny, because dan, bill, josh, and myself were talking about high school memories at K.F.C. over a nice low-budget dinner tonight. and you know what we concluded? treasure these memories. and then you make this blog.
do you have any particular memory of me you like the most?
