myka, yes. you still need stability, but sometimes your feelings cannot be controlled. they are what they are and nothing that you can do, say, or think will be able to control how you feel. it's our actions that we, as human beings, are blessed to have control over. eventually, is it our actions that are more important than the fleeting passions we feel? what is the true measure of a man, his words or actions? although i feel it's the latter, we may never know which one truly is judged. i feel like you were all over the place this weekend and not acting like yourself, but i'm glad that you have that under control. then again, who am i to judge who you really are? bleh. these hypothetical questions i seem to be proposing aren't doing anybody much good, so i'm going to stop that right now. but the lyrics to this song pretty much describe how i've always felt about you being so close to me
( ... )
i feel like i acted on impulse with this whole situation. but you heard how it went today...its hard to say goodbye to someone like that. there are a lot of mixed up thoughts going through my head right now. on one hand, i think if i'd just kept my feelings to myself then things would have happened differently or probably never would have happened at all. i would have just gotten back with dion and things would have carried on just like they had before. But on the other hand i'm so happy i finally got those feelings out and it felt good/right/wonderful to be happy with another person and not have all that baggage i guess. eeek! i'm just waiting for the dust to settle and see where i stand with everyone involved. i know what i want and i'm certain how i feel, i guess it just depends on other people...ya mean. i guess i am just confused on how to handle it.
well myka i'm here for you for support and i love you very much. sometimes our impulses are our best bet. and maybe it's not goodbye forever, but just for a long time. until the dust settles and the smoke clears away. stagnation clearly wasn't the answer, and i think you handled the situation as well as anybody with such copious amounts of stress could. this is a clean slate for you hammie. things will be a okay!! love and peace, joel louis badanes
