It is crazy how much work has gone into this promotion... but then again I made it on WarrenEllis, BoingBoing, Gaiman's twitter feed, and other such nifty places... so maybe it isn't just a matter of the cash for hours and goods trade-off.
That, and the experience, save for the sleep dep and being a couch plant, has been an amazingly encouraging one.
If you ever do this yourself, I can start you off by telling you all the ways we started off wrong. I know I'll keep all o that in mind *if* I end up doing a kickstarter for the children's book (next year when all this is over with)... but I think I might just try actually filing for a grant... I've never done that.
