Right, if you're dumb enough to remove the heatsink and fan while it's running. Then again, if you did, you deserve to have your processor and motherboard burn.

Mmmmm AM2. Yea i would have probably done the same thing. We have been so used to buying the same kind of socket type of CPU for quite some time now. I wish i had the money to delve into the new formfactor....well just to get a rig of my own. What kind of DDR2 ram did you get?

Picked up 1 gig of Dual Channel PNY 533 from Best Buy. Strangly enough, my discount there gave it to me cheaper than NewEgg would have.

Thats pretty sweet, do you know the cas timings off hand? haha.

I want to get the nice new Corsair ddr2 ram, i think their timers are something like 44412. Not bad considering most other ddr2 ram is much higher.

So far, the hardware is set up, and Windows is installed. All that's left is some misc drivers and such. Will be done today, and I can get it to you tomorrow.
