Ive read the post above this, as well as this one and its comments. To it all I have to say (and I hope it makes sense): Everywhere, untihinking mobs of "independent thinkers" wield tired cliches like cudgles, pummling those who dare question any form of enlightment, whatever it may be, optimistic or pessemistic. If "violence never solved anything" cops wouldn't carry guns and slaves would never have been freed. If 10 guilty men go free to spare one innocent, why not free 100, or 1,000,000? Cliches begin arguements, they don't settle them.
