Had a good email exchange with an old friend, living over in Perth, Australia. It was so nice hearing from her. But uh-oh she's persuaded me to visit her in Perth next year, in about July (that's when I'm on break from uni)... Flights from New Zealand to Perth one way are around $500... Ouch. Wow, I did not realize it was that expensive to fly from NZ to Australia! It's about the same price to fly from Florida to Australia actually when you do the currency conversion (~$1,100 USD)! That's kind of insane!

I remember playing Age of Empires. It was quite the entertaining game! I liked it when they progressed into different ages, like Iron Age to Bronze Age, etc.

Well it's pretty cheap to fly from New Zealand to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. It's just that Perth is so far away... But wow, I can't believe it costs only the same amount to fly from Florida to Aussie! That's crazy.

And the sad thing is, $500 is the cheapest flight I could find to Perth... If you were to fly with airlines like Air NZ or Qantas, you could be looking at like NZ$700 one way... Heh.

Oh gosh, that was so awesome being able to progress into different ages on Age of Empires! And you could make more advanced things like those gold covered horses and chariots and phalanx. Haha wow I miss talking about Age of Empires :)
