I am now home from Costume Con 26. It was brilliant, despite the initial hiccup of my managing to lose my mobile/cell phone!

It was lovely to get to chat with you about birdies, *squee* I bet it was the was the longest non-costuming related conversation at Costume con. My parrot Percival was glad to have me back home ("where I belong" - squawks Percival).

Giggle - yes, it probably wzas the longest non-costume conversation!!

Apparently, when Edmund (edmndclotworthy) work Bilbo up at 5.00am on Wednesday so that E could travel to Heathrow Airport to collect me, he explained to Bilbo that he was collecting "mummy". Bilbo's response was a dirty look and "Humph". He was not impressed!

He got his own back this morning by whistling at 7.00am but I told him to be quiet and instead slept in till 9.30!

I have to say again how gorgeous you looked in your doublet gown. I gasped when you took off the sheet! Congratulations again!

Thanks! But wait till I had the chocolate brown over gown to this one. It will be gorgeous. I'll look just like a delicious Belgian Chocolate! ::grin::

How about next summer? Yes, really - what do you think about going to Baltimore next May?

I'd love to - ironic how these things come along the day after you decide to get a handle on your debts :/

However, the better Your Wardrobe Unlock'd does, the more likely it is that I can come!!

That, and the need to make an entire wardrobe - costume's my work, so 99% of what I make goes straight out the door! Mind you, I would so love that opportunity. The mental list of what I want to make and wear (shock horror) has been growing for years!
