Hello and many long hugs to everyone.

As edmndclotworthy and sarahbellem have already said - I am safe. I was NOT in London at the time, I was in the 16th century instead.

However, I was not blissfully unaware of what was going on, but was trying to keep myself together to be Lady Mary Cordell for the visiting children AND find out how sarahbellem and guyelfkin and other people were. I ( Read more... )

Lots of Kentwellies were desperately trying to find out whether parents or other relatives were OK - lots of diving into privy areas or the stableyard to ring people, and then hiding phones and going back with brave face on for the schoolchildren.

I knew deep down that you were fine, but paranoia got the better of me anyway. I was so glad when E rang me up... He wanted to know if I was ok, but all I wanted to know was if YOU were ok! LOL! I wish we were nearer to each other... I could use some "family" right about now. I'm not upset or anything. I just want to be surrounded by the people I love and that means you and E and Teddy, who are effectively my English family. :)

Did you get all those silly text messages I sent you while I was suck in the tube between South Ken & Sloane Sq?

**hugs** to you from us both, dear heart. If by any chance you CAN get out of London to get up here on Friday then DO SO. I know we will be in Kentwell over the weekend, but if it gives you a bit of a breathing space and a bit of being near a "family" then please please come.

My sister has her birthday dinner on Saturday. Jamie (nephew) was supposed to come but he is unable to now, so there is a spare place available and I know my sister and my parents would be delighted if you came to help Nicky celebrate her 27th birthday.

I have read all the text messages - and they WERE NOT silly! So there!

I KNEW I should have had that phone with me today!!!

I'm so glad you and the rest of the "Costume Coalition" are ok. Please give my best to Edmund and give Bilbo an extra cuddle for me.

I was so worried about you all... I saw Sarah's post first and immediately went into a panic about you two and Teddy and Tom. I'm so glad everyone is safe. I am certain your God is watching over you, and most likely the dieties I believe in as well.

I'm so glad things are well. I have been worried all day about all of you as Livejournal is restricted at work. I do hope and pray nothing further will happen.
