Costume goodies...

This past weekend was a lot less decadent than last weekend (though the amaretti and almond cream cake was bordering on the decadent - wouldn't you agree sarahbellem??)

edmndclotworthy has mentioned a bit of what we did on Saturday so I will mention what we did on Sunday!!!

Hee! Yes we did do the Squee Dance in plain view of everyone on the street. There we were, hugging and jumping up and down and squeeing loudly and proudly. We're such dorks. ;)

I also didn't want to press the size issue with the cap. I think it may have been a child's cap (christening gift, perhaps?) or a show piece. Either way it wasn't worn much, if at all, and it definitely wasn't worn by a man. I have a small head and that thing wouldn't have fit on me, so unless England was populated by pygmies 400 years ago, I doubt the cap was made for a man. Boy maybe, but definitely not a man. Period.

But lordy was it lovely! At least Bess understood how the embroidery was done, because that part went straight over my head! LOL!
