Went to Stafford this morning with Jill. It was cold and misty but it made a change to walk alongside the river and then round the shops. I did find it incredibly tiring though. Jill took Heather into town to buy some more school trousers. We bought Heather several pairs when she started high school in September but she's grown about three inches since then and her trousers are flapping around above her ankle bones! After getting in from our morning walk around the park, me and PIp went to Trentham Gardens with Mum, Dad and Helen (my sis) for a stroll around the lake, stopping at the halfway mark for sandwiches and coffee. My favourite bit of any walk. At intervals we saw fairies. You think I'm kidding?

Yesterday the Memory Bones trade paperback was properly released, and today it's the turn of the Kindle edition. The former is around £9.50 and the latter a rather reasonable £2.70. Jill's cracked a rib from all the coughing. I didn't know it was possible but apparently constant coughing can cause a stress fracture. She's in some discomfort but muddling along.
