That's truly amazing! One really gets the sense that we are all just little ants living on the surface of a huge Behemoth. Mother Nature could crush us all with one loud belch (maybe two)from Her volcanic interiors.

I think we need a new religion ("Gaiaism" would do). We need to make it a moral imperative to:

1. Control our human population (Dugards: for shame!)
2. Control our energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
3. Generally stop being assholes.

Point #3 should be a guiding principle that would naturally lead to the other two. If only that were true.
