I thought Paco was lonely so I brought Doorstop to come live with us. I thought maybe he just needed a friend and then he would stop following me around and meowing at me. Now, instead, they both follow me; he meows and Doorstop nibbles on my toes. They still kind of fight over who gets to sleep with us but other than that, get along pretty ok.
We finally have the internet! Although I'm pretty sure we will end up owing Cox our firstborn child, I'm very excited to not have to go to the library to check my e-mail. And with digital cable and "Campus Ladies", I'm super psyched.
My niece has a MySpace. There's something very weird about reading her myspace account and thinking about how it seems just yesterday that I used to hold her and help her walk. I remember wanting to hear her talk and now she doesnt shut up. It's kinda cool to read her myspace though; I'm pretty proud of how she's grown up.
My sister-in-law is letting me wear her dress when I get married. I thought I would need more altering since she's not quite 5 foot and I'm nearly 6 but it won't take as much work as we thought. I gotta get a date set in the next couple weeks. I kept saying I was going to put it off til we got all moved in but I'll just keep procrastinating.

You're not eighteen anymore. Five years should have been, enough time for you to grow up and get over this. Not too cool to be throwing up all morning sick from what you might have done or done it with.
They're making a movie based off my second-favorite book. I'm terrified to see it based on what I've heard. But I love me some John Fante so I'll be there.
