Death Note Ep 27: Abduction (SPOILERS)
Summary and review
Ok I watched it and it was ok. it surprised me that Melo went kind of evil since ive never read the manga. I like Near as well but heś no L. I miss L and i´m still really pissed that they killed him off. Anyways in this epi, the Director of the Japanese police is kidnapped, hence the title of this episode. Turns out, its Melo who took him and he demands the Death Note as ransom. Kira (light) kills the director hoping that it will solve the problem. Melo only uses this information to derive that Kira knows police information. He sets his sights on the Cheif´s daughter Sayu Yagami. Also Light´s sister obviously. He kidnaps her and sends the chief a picture. He decides to take the death note to the kidnappers so Light, hoping to help, places a call to the FBI claiming to be L. Near is handed the phone since he is working in America and calls Light out, telling him that he knows he is the second L and the real L is dead. Light throws suspicion on the other investigators claiming that ¨SPK¨(Near´s Kira investigation team) must have access to police info if they know about L´s death and the Note which Near had also spoken of. The episode ends with Light remembering L and his aura and he alludes to it as if he knows Near is L´s successor.
I totally loved this episode just because im really enjoying this series. However i didnt like it nearly as much as when L was in the show. I totally miss him.
7/10....although the fansubbing gets 10/10 because KuroHana fansubs are awesome ^^
I´m really looking forward to episode 28 ^^ Hope you are too.
