Weirdest thing, I went to use my tube of Peanut butter cup and the lip balm has turned into glue stick. Why would this be? I think I will check my other tubes.

Depends.
It is probably lifespan. Without the use of preservatives the balms have a shorter shelflife. The consistency is usually the first thing to change- and it does get glue like. Sometimes it is just the top- if you cut off a bit the rest of the balm will be ok.
It could also just be too many temperature changes. That sometimes dries out the top and just the wax remains.
